Hello!
My name is Marian Mendoza!
I was born in Ireland on the 13th of June 2003. My parents are Filipino and came to Ireland
to work.
I am so lucky to currently be a student in UCC (University College Cork). I am particularly
interested in making full stack applications , software engineering,
game development,
mobile applications and web development, since I was young I have been exposed
to technology as my dad would always play on his PS2, with me and my brother.
My strongest skill is front-end development. I also take huge
interest in designing interfaces.
I'm very proud to receive the award Best Software Project Supported by SIG.
In
this
project
my responsibility was to develop the front-end in Android Studio.
Apart from my academic history, I enjoy doing digital art, gaming, and video editing in my
free
time. If
not I'm probably travelling.
2021-2024
I've worked as a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales assistant at Flying Tiger, Mahon Point. During my time here, I've developed a strong connection with the team and have learned many skills.
Developed skills:
2022-2023

During my internship my responsibility was to create softwares and applications development including web applications and websites.
During our 3rd year semester, we participated in a competition supported by SIG Susquehanna
International Group. I'm proud to receive this award with my fellow team members, Liam
Healy, Amy Craven, Luca Gahan and Jack O'Sullivan.
CHOMG is our security app that uses motion detection technology, turning webcams that are
connected to a Raspberry Pi into advanced security devices. It monitor your space for
unexpected movements, notifying you of potential security breaches.
Our system process and sends data to a digital ocean cloud server, allowing users to receive
real-time alerts through a sleep, user-friendly app. This ensures customers can monitor
their property's safety from anywhere, offering peace of mind with ease.
My responsibility to the team was to develop the front end with Java, and .XML.
Additionally, I had to adapt to Android Studio to deploy and create the app. I used to Figma
to create a friendly UI and achieve a minimalist look. We did version controls with Github,
using our own branches and merging at the final stage of development. Click here to view the

This was the first project I developed within my internship at the CSO. This application
displayed the database in SQL Server Management Studio to a desktop application. This was
developed with the framework .NET and I had to gain proficiency in the programming language
C#.
This application allows you to view the customers, employees and orders tables within the
NorthWind database in SSMS. This allows you to change between table views, search ID and
names, filter columns, and change row sizes and font for comforts. Other features include
the exporting of your selection in .pdf, and .csv.
Many NuGet packages were used to achieve these functionality. Click here to view the github
repository for the Northwind
Table Viewer and Exporter.
Aphrodites Den was my first full-stack application. This was a first year project. I used
python, with flask for the front-end. Futhermore developing my web development skills, such
as HTML, and CSS.
This is a makeup website where customers can order by adding the items to their cart and
purchasing to confirm. They can log in, create an account, and their information from their
orders will be saved.
I also took pictures for another project down below and reused it for this website to create
a cute chic website interface.

FlowerRev was one of the first web applications I've developed in web development. We had to
make a game with Javascript, and put it on a web page. This also developed my web
development skills with HTML and CSS.
In this game you play as a seed, and you try to blossom by staying alive as long as
possible. The enemies are other baby flowers , that bloom in large quantities. To survive
you need to shoot them before they invade your space. Click here to view the github

This game is currently in development. I've always been a big fan of Stardew Valley and
decided to create a rpg pixel game. I drew the characters and got the tile map online. For
this game, I started exploring a new game engine known as Godot, where you learn the
programming language GDScript.
This game follows the narrative of a little witch named Aila Elhorn. Uncover the mysteries
of the EverGloom forest and the history of the town named Moonhallow. Befriend the villagers
and complete tasks to delve deeper into the hidden past. Click here to view the github
repository for the EverGloom
Forest.
This project was developed in 3rd Year for our module Software Engineering with Amy Craven.
Muudy is a system that can determine a user's personality type. It also allows you t o
improve your mood, by analyzing your daily activities, and returning helpful feedback.
This was made with PyQt 6. Click here to view the github repository for Muudy.
Project and Play was the first website I've ever made in University. I take huge interest in
photography and got my friends to pose for the online gallery, "Project and Play". In the video are the list of friends who volunteered to model for this. This wouldn't have been done without there help.
This was made with HTML, CSS and Javascript.
